In 1975, he was booked on a tour of Japan as the opening act for a salsa band. It was in Japan that he was exposed to kabuki, a Japanese theater form, which had such a great influence on his own magic style. Jeff McBride is currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He established the “McBride Magic and Mystery School” to teach the art of stage magic. Working under his stage name, Magnus, Jeff was a performer for several years in Caesar’s Palace’s Magical Empire.
