Vanishing Ace / Rainbow Monte

This has fast become one of my favourite effects. Basically it is a version of (and much cheaper) “Juan Pablo’s Rainbow Monte” which is an improved version of the “Virginia city shuffle”. Which itself is a version of “Sidewalk Shuffle” Another version of “the only three card trick with four cards” Wow proves how popular the concept of this trick is. As old as me. almost

The coloured backs making it nice and easy for the spectator to follow and adds an extra layer of mystery.

The effect:
The magician shows four jumbo cards with different colours on the back, and turns them over to reveal they are an Ace of clubs and three blank cards.

The yellow backed Blank card is given to the spectator, and the red backed Ace is mixed with the other two blank cards . When the cards are spread again, it transpires the the Ace has changed its back! No longer is the red backed card the Ace, its now the green backed card. This happens again, but now all the cards in the magician’s hand are Blank, and the Blank (yellow card in the spectator’s hand becomes an Ace!

For the grand finale he does it one last time. Behold now theres only ONE Blank card and THREE Aces
